Man Responsible for ‘Swatting’ Death Charged With Involuntary Manslaughter

Tyler Barriss stands accused of placing a call leading to the death of an innocent man at the hands of police. Barriss has been formally charged with involuntary manslaughter for his part in the death.
If convicted Barriss could face a maximum sentence of 34 months behind bars with maximum fines of $300,000.
